Firm Biography

Deagle, Ames & Co. is a full service accounting and consulting firm providing a wide range of critical individual and business advisory services. Dan is the managing partner of Deagle, Ames & Co. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance from Idaho State University and has been with the firm since 1982. Dan specializes in tax, estate and financial planning, computer consulting (including QuickBooks) and audits, both not-for-profit and for-profit companies. Dan is a loan originator for CPA Mortgage Services. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Idaho Society of CPAs, of which he is a former chapter president. He is also President of the Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation, Treasurer of his local Kiwanis club, and past chairman of the Magic Valley Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Dan's hobbies include hunting, fishing, all sports, photography, music and following his family's activities.

L. Todd Ames, CPA todd@deagleames.com

Todd is a partner at Deagle, Ames & Co. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brigham Young University with a minor in business. He has practiced accounting in Idaho, Utah and Missouri for over 10 years. Todd's work experience has given him a very broad perspective of client needs. While in Utah he worked for a local start-up company gaining valuable hands-on experience. He worked extensively for one of the Big Four International accounting firms as well as a multi-billion dollar corporation while he and his family lived in St. Louis, Missouri. Todd joined Deagle, Ames & Co. in 1999. His specialties include auditing, college funding, financial planning, computer and business consulting and tax strategies. He currently serves on the board as Treasurer of his local Rotary club. Todd enjoys outdoor activities of camping, bicycling and sports, the cultural arts, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
